IRPP3624-12A drives a pair of external N MOSFETs using a fixed 600kHz switching frequency allowing the use of small external components. Error signal between feedback pin and internal reference voltage is compared to a fixed frequency linear sawtooth ramp and generates fixed frequency pulses of variable duty cycle which drivers N channel external MOSFETs.
